Valentines Day Brunch with Anne, Ulrik and Anders and Fastelavn

On Valentines Day we visited Anne, Ulrik and Anders for Brunch. Anders is now 5 months old and has grown a lot. Sofie tried effortlessly to get him to play with her and couldn't understand why he wouldn't ....... see a few of the photos and video below.

It is also the Fastelavn celebration for children in Denmark. All the children in DayCare got dressed up Monday and Sofie went as a Reindeer. See the photos below.

Sofie received a little table and chair as a Fastelavn present from Grandma and Grandpa and she loves it .........


Sofie just loves Luna ......

Sofie turned 1.5 years old today (February 20th).


She is developing her motorical skills very quickly now and climbs, jumps and runs all the time. See video of her climbing into her high chair.

Hopla ...


We bought Sofie a little bucket, spade etc for the sandbox we intend getting her in our summer house. She spent hours carrying the bucket around and putting all her lego people into it

On Sunday we had planned to go skiiing ....... but Dad woke up feeling sick which is the never ending story of our lives this winter as it seems we rotate and never have a long period where the whole family is well. We ended up going to the pool and spending time in the playground in our courtyard. Mum also baked some bread rolls. See videos and photo below.

Sofie is now longer afraid of this tunnel.


Sofie was nicely surprised when Dad came down to take a look.


Walking with ski suit and boots on seems less tedious now.

Sofie has started helping Mum when she bakes bread and is good at getting utensils ready and clapping at Mum ....in this photo she watches the rolls bake.
