Baby massage & the last swimming lesson for 2008

This week Sofie was a model for Laila's up-coming DVD on baby massage. Laila is my yoga teacher and has previously produced yoga videos and specializes in instruction of pregnant women and post natum mothers and she is great with babies. I am really looking forward to seeing the video. This week we also attended our last swimming lesson of the year and had a visit from the nurse who weighed Sofie. At 4 months of age Sofie now weighs 6380 g which is almost a doubling of her birth weight. Check out the photos and videos below.

The last swimming lesson of the year had an impressive turn-out considering it was a Friday so close to Christmas. The lesson was more or less 'play' and in this photo Sofie is having a ride on her mums back.

We work a lot with balance and in this photo Sofie is balancing on her mums stomach while being supported.











Sofie did 2 torpedo dives (see video below). In these dives one parents dives with her and lets her go while the other parent catches her under water!! She doesn't look too impressed in this photo but she quickly began playing again.
